The Seattle Mariners Women’s Club was founded in June 1977, with the help of Bev Stock, wife of pitching coach Wes Stock.

The SMWC is a group of dedicated women fans of baseball in general and the Seattle Mariners in particular. Many SMWC members are season ticket holders, and several also attend Spring Training games.

We promote charitable community projects and activities, and encourage enthusiasm for the Seattle Mariners.

We support the team and are ready to promote them in any way. We are not part of the Mariner organization - we have NO special privileges or access to the players.

As a service organization, the SMWC administers the Bev and Wes Stock Scholarship for a graduating high school senior planning to study in a field related to athletics. Scholarship information can be located at thewashboard.org, or visit our 'scholarship' tab.

Membership encompasses a wide range of ages and residences, across the country and Canada. The one common bond for all is the love of the game of baseball.  If you would like to join or have questions, contact us.
